I had know idea what the patterns unit was about and know you could give my a parent function and i would get it and graph it. For the next unit i want to be able to understand and have a really clear perspective on health increases

In the unit Ensuring a Healthy Population we learned about calculating probabilities as fractions, decimals, using simulations to estimate probabilities and compare strategies ,percents by emphasizing equally likely outcomes and by constructing mathematical models, making and interpreting frequency bar graphs including area models and tree diagrams,solving problems involving conditional probability
Determining whether events are independent ,comparing the theoretical analysis of a situation with experimental results ,examining how the number of trials in a simulation affects the results.
The point of learning this is to get the idea of how it well affect you long term.

When I first started this unit I had problem understanding it until I read the story everybody else had so I kinda just jumped in and I really didn’t like that but as i went along i found out that the unit question was does the guy have time to escape the answer turn out to be yes but in order to find the answer we also had to find out what affects the time of a pendulum with turned out to only be length.
Personal Growth
I walked in not even realizing that i knew what a pendulum was and so when we learn as to how to find the time and equation shocked me. I learned so much what the normal curve is why we need to know this how it’s used in health and schools. How to be precise with measurements in timing a pendulum I think the biggest struggle in this unit was that i was sick for what feels like half of it and that scared me. I think something I still need to work on is just knowing that there is nothing to do if I get sick and that my make up work won’t be the best if I want to keep up with the class. Being a person who likes feeling that I put lots of time and effort in my work is important to me because as I learned from art and sports you can always do better and knowing I can but am not going to be able to do that is hard for me.
